On Nov 8 (Sat), we held a sweet potato digging event at a farm in Fujima (Agricultural Corporation Fazenda), with 20 participants, including 12 foreign residents. Under the clear autumn sky, as soon as everyone arrived at the farm, they began digging sweet potatoes, and their 30-kg rice bags quickly filled up with sweet potatoes of all sizes.
After the digging was done, the farm served freshly baked hot sweet potatoes. Participants enjoyed the golden, rich flavor of the sweet potatoes while feeling the pleasant breeze over the spacious field.
